Fiona is a registered Occupational Therapist with 15 years experience working in government mental health services as well as private practice. She is a member of the Queensland Association of Occupational Therapists and her areas of interest include mental health recovery and rehabilitation, early psychosis, family psycho-education, mindfulness, group work, clinical supervision and medico-legal assessment and report writing. She was a member of the Occupational Therapy Course Advisory Committee for Southern Cross University from 2009 to 2011.
Fiona has provided specialist occupational therapy services to PRA Psychology for approximately 6 years, with her clinical focus being on the provision of medico-legal assessment and report writing. She has extensive experience assessing people involved in workplace accidents or with personal injuries, having conducted over two hundred and fifty functional capacity evaluations for medico-legal purposes. She has worked with various law firms, both on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. She has completed a number of training courses including the WorkHab Functional Capacity Evaluation training (2007) and the Expert Witness Course with the Australasian College of Legal Medicine (2010).
